Managed Methods Inc., a provider of cost effective SOA security and governance products, yesterday announced the availability of CloudGate, a hosted cloud services management solution. The company claims that CloudGate delivers security, monitoring, and governance that gives end-to-end control of web-based services deployed in public cloud infrastructures.

It explains that visibility and control is paramount to the success of any SOA initiative, particularly services are running in public clouds. However, many times it is pushed down the priority stack because of the cost and effort of deploying traditional governance solutions which require significant effort during installation and testing.
