Codero Supports WebMatrix

Partnering with Microsoft, the company is able to support the web development tool that makes it easy for anyone to create a new website.

Codero, a dedicated and managed hosting provider, yesterday announced that it now supports the debut of the new Microsoft WebMatrix for web development. The company mentions that this tool is available for anyone who wants to create a website and publish it on the Internet. When the user is ready to publish their site on the web, they can simply select the company as their hosting provider for their website. It claims that the company is one of an exclusive group of providers to be asked by Microsoft to be a hosting partner for the launch of WebMatrix.

The company articulates that WebMatrix was released in 13 languages January 13, 2011. The variety of templates and pre-built web applications available within WebMatrix makes it appropriate for every kind of user. Whether the developer uses WordPress or Joomla, the product is noted for being a simple and seamless way to get a website on the Internet. The WebMatrix tool allows the creation of websites in two main ways: starting with open-source applications like WordPress/Umbraco and Drupal; and creating them from scratch using HTML, CSS/ and JavaScript and ASP.Net Web Pages with 'Razor' syntax.

"Codero embraces the opportunity to help make developers' busy lives easier through a product such as this," said Taylor Giddens, Director, Dedicated Services. "WebMatrix is a very simple way to build websites. You can start coding, testing and deploying your own site without worrying about configuring your own web server or managing databases. WebMatrix is just one of many ways Codero can support you with your hosting."
