FiberMedia Names Senior Vice President of Sales

As Senior Vice President of Sales, John Panzica is responsible for managing the company's sales and marketing efforts and will take the lead role in re-branding the company.

FiberMedia, a data center operator, yesterday announced the addition of John Panzica to the executive team. The company avers that as Senior Vice President of Sales, Panzica is responsible for managing the its sales and marketing efforts and will take the lead role in its re-branding, including developing a new Go To Market Strategy to cater to the NY/NJ financial industry and the enterprise market at large.

It mentions that Panzica will oversee sales and marketing of the company's network of six data center colocation centers that comprise approximately 140,000 square feet of space. The company's colocation data centers are fully redundant N+1, SAS70 type II facilities. His role extends to the sales and marketing of its suite of managed IT services that include business continuity, device management, monitoring, data storage, back-up and cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

The company says that John Panzica has over 15 years experience building companies and business units in the financial services, telecommunications and data center industries. Panzica is the recipient of the prestigious Banker Technology Innovative Product Award and was recognized by Light Reading for the Best New Service from a private company. He has been both published and quoted in industry publications including 'Advanced Trading', 'Inside Market Data' and 'Buy Side' Magazine.
