In his new role, Leo J. Cole will be responsible for leading the global marketing strategy, while also driving day-to-day execution of the company's marketing plan.
Trustwave, a provider of on-demand and subscription-based information security and payment card industry compliance management solutions, yesterday announced its appointment of Leo J. Cole as Chief Marketing Officer. Cole brings more than 30 years of data security and enterprise software marketing experience with leading global organizations to the company. In his new role, Cole is responsible for leading the global marketing strategy, while also driving day-to-day execution of the company's marketing plan.
According to the company, Cole was Vice President of Marketing for Guidance Software previously, where he helped grow its visibility in digital forensics and electronic discovery, as well as help expand market opportunities in the data security space. Cole earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
