Chris Murray joins the company as Senior Vice President of Public Policy.
EarthLink, Inc., an internet service provider, recently announced that Chris Murray has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Public Policy.
According to the company, Murray will lead its public policy positioning and interface with lawmakers and regulators. Based in Washington, D.C., Murray will work to ensure that the company is not disadvantaged by new regulation and legislation, and that it seizes opportunities in that environment. Murray's experiences include his recent tenure as Vice President of External Affairs for Clearwire, where he helped maintain a spectrum portfolio for this mobile broadband internet provider. Murray earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
EarthLink Chief Executive Officer Rolla Huff said, "Regulation and public policy are significant factors that influence the competitive landscape and the economics of this industry. Chris' public policy and advocacy experience will be a tremendous asset moving into this next phase of our growth."
