AccelOps, a data center service management provider, yesterday announced that it has named William Delaney as its Chief Financial Officer. The company avers that Delaney will play a key role in shaping its overall business strategy, day-to-day operations, and fundraising. In the CFO role, he will oversee the company's finance, legal, human resources, and administration departments.
It says that most recently, Delaney served as Vice President and CFO at Chelsio Communications, ConSentry Networks, and MediaQ, a venture-backed startup acquired by NVIDIA. Delaney earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
"William brings the expertise and knowledge, along with the hands-on business experience, of a seasoned operations executive," said Elie Antoun, President and CEO of AccelOps. "This strong combination of skills and experience will be an important addition to AccelOps' executive management team and will support his success as CFO of a fast-growing company like AccelOps."
