According to the company, Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010 is a collaboration platform that is at the core of Microsoft's application lifecycle management solution. With the company's TFS hosting solution, Microsoft developers can use familiar development tools to manage source control and track issues and bugs, whether the developer works alone or in a team. To qualify for this free VSS migration offer, it requires pre-screening and approval due to the potential complexity in migration.
"Mainstream support for Visual SourceSafe is slated to end next year, so we want to help VSS users make the move to Team Foundation Server," said Takeshi Eto, VP Marketing and Business Development at DiscountASP.NET.
